Details: https://t.co/cXpLC82e9y
I'm delighted to announce our research group will be moving to @FU_Berlin this March. We are excited to be a part of an amazing faculty with incredible colleagues.
A huge thanks to @MpiciPotsdam and @peterseeberger for the support over the years! It has been greatly appreciated

Great video to get to know #fluorine and its chemistry!! Amazing work by @Pontebata and @RiedelLab. And of course a big shoutout to @NiklasLimberg for the impressive technique ;)
Gran vídeo para dar a conocer el flúor y su química a los hispanohablantes! No os lo perdáis :)
We are very happy and proud that our paper about the synthesis/application of perhalo trityl radicals is now out in @J_A_C_S. Great cooperation with @EiglerLab and @ReschGenger Lab at BAM. New applications ahead! Great job of Johanna Schlögl and team https://t.co/yOFaVKUXrq
🎁HBT Herbert W. Roesky who turns 90 today. He studied chemistry at the University of Goettingen @uniGoettingen from 1957 onwards and earned his PhD in 1963 for work with Oskar Glemser on the high pressure #fluorination of metals. After a postdoc with Earl Muetterties in the legendary Du Pont Laboratories in Wilmington, DE/USA he did his habilitation in record time in Göttingen in 1967. In 1971 he became Professor of #InorganicChemistry at the Goethe University Frankfurt, and in 1980 he returned to his Alma Mater in Goettingen where he remained ever since and discovered numerous inorganic compounds, reactions and mechanisms until very recently—see a 2025 publication on Si and Ge chemistry in Chem. Comm. Main group elements and transition metals were researched in his group regardless whether the products were #organometallics or #CoordinationCompounds. Herbert Roesky could entertain huge audiences with experimental lectures, and based on those he published books like “Spectacular Chemical Experiments” in order to popularize chemistry. The Christel and Herbert W. Roesky Foundation promotes main group chemistry through a biannual Award. He himself was honored through numerous awards, honorary degrees, and memberships in academies and learned societies; the highest award of the GDCh @GDCh_aktuell, the Honorary Membership he received in 2021.
We are very happy that the @WSS_Stiftung is supporting our project "WSS Resources"! We will develop new chemical systems for converting sustainable resources over the next 10 years. Thanks to all supporters over the last two years. For more details see: https://t.co/xZMO3iIucp
An excellent second day of the 3rd Berlin Summer School in Fluorine Chemistry @fluor_crc1349! Thanks to all speakers, Jeinsen, @DuttonChemistry, @m_malischewski, @Johnjmol, Pomerantz, and Riedl. We look forward for the following fluorine conference the next two days @FUBerlin.
I'm very happy to see that our article on the coupling of the chemistry and energy sectors has now been published in a more general public format @spektrum. I hope everybody enjoys and understands the possibilitie😉 Thanks @WSS_Stiftung and FUB for support https://t.co/0VJWj4FnVe

We have reached almost the end of this fabulous session. To wrap up, we have a fascinating plenary talk by @RiedelLab from @FU_Berlin about the Chemistry of halogens and their compounds. Dive in with us into the world of halogen, cheers!
