@jdrieder57@DisrespectedThe Good on Dad for not losing his cool with the man child at the door. His girls would have been even more scared even though the dude at the door needed his ass beat!
I came across a Facebook post from some dork named Harl Van Deursen. His post was calling for a boycott of Slap's BBQ because they were invited to share their food and sauces at the office of the President.
Let’s take a step back.
You do not have to like Donald Trump. You may not have liked Joe Biden either.
But there is a difference between politics and the office itself.
An invitation to the White House is not about endorsing a political party. It is about representing your craft, your business, and in this case, a local Kansas City brand on a national stage.
And now the response is to try to punish a small business for showing up?
That is where this gets off track.
This kind of thinking, where it is “agree with me or else,” is exactly what continues to divide people. It does not create change. It does not move anything forward. It just creates more noise.
I was not always aligned with every administration either. But if given the opportunity to step into the Office of the President, I would go. I would be respectful. I would represent where I come from. And I would look for common ground.
Because that is how progress actually happens.
Trying to damage a business because you disagree with a moment like this accomplishes nothing. It does not strengthen your position. It weakens it.
We can disagree without trying to tear everything down.
At some point, we have to decide if we want to keep fueling division or start acting like adults again.
I hope folks eat at Slaps BBQ with their friends, family and even get their business to cater a lunch. We gotta help offset the business loss from those Vegans on Harl's page.

@1800flowershelp So she will not get her flowers on her birthday at school, which has been a standard tradition. And nobody would tell me the name of the shop so I could just go pick it up and bring it to her school 2 1/2 hours ago. Problem would have been solved.
@1800flowershelp I will never use your service ever again. The inflexibility of your customer support team to help solve an issue is astounding. I ordered flowers for my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday Monday this week to be delivered today.
@1800flowershelp knowing that Valentine’s Day was tomorrow so busy time of the year, I get it. It was being delivered to her at school, which I have done every year and I called this afternoon at 12:15 to find out why the flowers hadn’t been delivered yet and they indicated that
@1800flowershelp the shop had tried in the school was closed. No the school is not closed. They called the shop back, indicated that the shop said they will redeliver by 1 PM central standard time. That hasn’t happened, school is now over and that school is now closed until Wednesday.
If you block a federal agent during an operation, you’re not getting a safety briefing, you’re getting moved.
That’s not “violence,” it’s necessary!
And when the mission’s federal, hesitation’s not an option.
@googlefiber the fact that I have to do this in 2025 when it is understood that a lack of customer service and a lack of follow-through for your paying customers will warrant a social media post to advertise the incompetency of which you operate is unbelievable!

My next step will be ro call @ATT and have them come and install the home Internet for most likely much cheaper than the hundred plus a month that I pay your company for what has been horrible customer service in this situation and spotty service for Internet at home.
I have been after your company to follow through with a burial of a cable in my yard for over a month. Multiple phone calls with no response, no follow-through, and broken promises of we will get it done. Cont...
