A new report has revealed what id Software was working on before Microsoft’s latest Xbox layoffs.
According to GamesBeat, the studio had several ideas in development, including

>A new multiplayer/co-op DOOM game
>Perfect Dark reboot support after The Initiative’s closure

>Ironwood – a robot-themed Western survival game inspired by Westworld
According to GamesBeat, the future of these projects is now uncertain following Microsoft’s latest round of layoffs at id Software.

It would have been really cool if Epic made a mini-game during Ch6 where we entered the spirit realm for a short time and had an objective for rewards, something similar to the mothership mini-game
Would've also been a nice way to see what the spirit realm actually looked like
I really love how Shaken Sanctuary has a tropical aesthetic similarly to the original Sanctuary.
Unlike New Sanctuary being in the desert last season, this perfectly captures the vibe of the original Sanctuary.
