Perhaps the tears, the delays, the disappointments and the loneliness are teaching you lessons you couldn't have learned any other way.

You keep asking Allah to change your life, but perhaps there's a part of you that needs healing, strengthening and bringing closer to Him first.

Don't let the waiting make you forget Who you're waiting on.

You don't know what tomorrow holds, but you know Who holds tomorrow.

Keep making duʿa. Keep repenting. Keep striving.

And even if what you asked for comes differently than you imagined, trust that your Lord knows what you cannot see.

May Allah make us patient in the waiting, grateful in the receiving, and content with His decree. Ameen.
