Even though I don’t usually share personal things, I want to share this. Almost 14 years ago, this little rat named Pepe came into my life. As some of you know, his health had been getting worse over the past few months, which kept me very busy and, honestly, pretty discouraged. After getting through one last surgery on Tuesday and a few days of treatment, his kidneys finally failed early this morning, and his heart couldn’t take it anymore. I thought I had grown used to situations like this, but truthfully, I feel completely shattered, and his absence hurts more than I can put into words... Tbh I fucking hate that nothing we did worked, but at least I know I did everything that was within my reach and that I held him during his final moments. I’m writing this partly to thank you all for your patience and support, especially over these past few months, and partly because I really needed to let it out, even if it doesn’t really change anything... Starting tomorrow, I’ll finally be back to my usual work rhythm, so I should be able to deliver all commissions left to finish throughout this week and also post a lot more often as I had planned. Pepe, you were the most loyal and best friend I could have ever asked for. Thank you for everything, son.
