Now a simple expatriates labour cast increased to 250-300 rial par month. How can we afford this?? We asked ministry to open work visa for Bengalis and Pakistanis so we can get some cheap labour.

A Bengali expatriates labour cost is close to a Omani. All polices actually helping remaining expatriates worker and becoming rich.

But he is not wise enough to understand how a farm, shop and small medium sized enterprise running and facing challenges to this day. Dedication of a citizen, his investment, his voice, his need, someone need to listen.

7/ Expatriates continuously working for 3-5 year want to go home but owners don’t giving permission due to labour shortage. Which is inhuman and caused demand of double salary.

هذه الاحصائيات لا يمكن ان تتوفر من خلال استبيانات الرأي والقنوات التقليدية ولكنها مذهلة حقا !!

لا تتوافق مع الاحصائيات الرسمية وتنم عن سخط كبير ومنتشر وواسع بين أوساط المشاركين على اداء وزارة العمل بشكل عام ووزيرها بشكل خاص.

الردود تنم على ان هناك مشكلة كبيرة واتمنى ان يتم تناولها بكل الموضوعية والحكمة.

expatriates salary to 200% by banning visa for cheap workers.
You have to hire Omani citizen, ok i hired, now why expatriate labour cost doubled? How can we make profit!!!

@Mohammed_gadad @Labour_OMAN It is a impossible situation to enter in trade when existing businesses in survival mode and some businesses permanently closing. Due to labour shortage, increase of labour cost, work visa restriction to Bengali, Pakistani you cannot make a new business profitable.

@m_barkat2 يا رجال اجتمعوا معه أكثر من 60 شخص قبل أسبوعين ف غرفه تجارية في صلالة ولا طلوا بنتيجة واحدة اجابية !!! ، و من ضمن المواضيع التي طرحت لمعاليه نفس موضوعك ، القهر لما احد رواد الأعمال قال له المحلات سوف تغلق ، قال معاليه خليها تغلق !!!!
