(Thread) Combatting Disinformation
The biggest problems were are facing now are related:
🔹The president of the US is using highly effective fascist-style propaganda on US citizens
🔹It’s working with swing and persuadable voters
First I’ll discuss the problem. Then solutions.
The existing DOJ leadership team decided not to put charges on Rudy Giuliani or on Matt Gaetz and has allowed a seemingly open-and-shut investigation of Fox News’s practice of concealing sexual abuse settlements, which was mysteriously killed under Trump, to remain dead...
I’m not going to argue with the rage tweeters. Either Donald will be indicted as he should, or he won’t which would mean the death of the rule of law. I refuse to get mad about things that haven’t happened yet. If he’s not indicted, I’ll get mad.
Warnock secured 8.9 billion for roads, 225 million for bridges, 100 million for Broadband, 1.4 trillion for transportation, 135 million for climate action for his state of Georgia. Every Republican voted against it. Herschel Walker wants to be a Werewolf. ITS NOT A HARD CHOICE!
Recommendation: help Ukraine achieve military victories & compel Russia to negotiate, soonest, before this conflict hits more milestones & locks NATO & Russia into war. War remains an extreme possibility, but we continue to march in that direction the longer the war continues.
If you're not following the litigation from parties trying to Block Biden's cancellation of student debt, then you may have missed the Texas judge who compared congressional authorization to Biden to do so because of the COVID emergency to the German law letting Hitler take power
NEW: A senior member of Twitter’s legal team just posted this message in Slack:“Everyone should know that our CISO, Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Compliance Officer ALL resigned last night. This news will be buried in the return-to-office drama. I believe that is intentional.”

Everything that @elonmusk has done publicly so far to Twitter seems like exactly what I'd do if I wanted to ensure the entire platform ran straight into the ground, and fast. His actions and words make it really hard to see how this isn't actually his plan.
I dare, nay, I double-dare, actually to hell with it, I triple-dog-dare a mainstream newspaper, magazine, or news outlet to do a big feature on asking Republican elites to venture into urban & Rust Belt diners to ask average Americans why they voted Democrat in the 2022 election.
I'm in Manhattan criminal court this morning, where Donald Trump's personal ledger is now on a big screen for all to see.
A New York jury is now seeing how Trump paid for his CFO's grandchildren's expensive private school tuition as an untaxed corporate benefit.
1/ Just want to put this news in plain language for people.
Senior people at Twitter have resigned in the last 48 hours. We now now why. They said in private Slack channels that @elonmusk is so desperate to recoup his money, he’s taking crazy risks with YOUR privacy and safety.
