The Prince George Cougars continue to stand behind Mavrik and support him in the fight he’s been battling. This young man is the definition of a warrior, and it’s been incredible to see the outpouring of support surrounding him and his family.
Mark Lamb won’t win the coach of the year. That said, he should!! Losing Heidt, Valis, Riche, Ziemmer and Kmec, yet still win over 40 games!! Dealing with that travel? Incredible. Great coach. Never makes excuses. He isn’t the shinny new toy, so sadly will be overlooked.
For the second time in three seasons, Mark Lamb is a nominee for the Dunc McCallum Trophy 🏆
Congrats, Lamber!!!

Excited for Corbin — this is well deserved.
We all know how tough and physical he plays, but since returning from suspension last year, he’s been nothing short of a rock for this team. In the 19 games back last year, he was +5 and took just one penalty.
He’s earned every bit of this.

Troy Stecher stepped into the Oilers lineup 10 games into the playoffs and provided everything the team could have hoped for.
But now, with Mattias Ekholm nearing a return, his spot on the blue line is in jeopardy — fairly or not. (@SportsnetSpec) https://t.co/rdUK3SZcVm
