I watched Tucker and Trump this morning. I watched the GOP Debate last night. I have concluded that the problem in American politics is blatant Hypocrisy.

Remember these texts from Tucker Carlson in 2020?

"I hate him passionately. I can't handle much more of this. We are pretending we've got a lot to show for it [4 years of Trump presidency], because admitting what a disaster it's been is too tough to digest. There isn't really an upside to Trump."

Tucker has brilliantly utilized X to blow away the competition. I give him complete credit for that. It was a brilliant move. But with that said, he was almost fawning over the man who he claimed to "hate passionately".

Then you have the GOP Debate:

Most of the candidates who were up there almost certainly don't believe the things they were saying about Trump, besides Christie and perhaps Hutchinson.

They praise him and fawn over him, while secretly hoping he can't run, gets convicted or drops out.
