Another Francine Rivers banger! I read the ' Scarlet Thread ' .And truly, truly I say unto you. Without God, I don't think I can love anyone through and through. This book tells us about Sierra's relationship with her husband Alex, but doesn't begin with anything godly.

Their children suffered from Sierra's irritable behavior and Alex's neglect from his family to chase his aspirations and dreams to become the best professional in his field. Sierra sulked for too long and Alex committed adultery, which then caused Sierra to run to God.

I read this book this week and I MUST say!!
Khaled Hosseini did a good job giving a little history about Afghanistan and the evolution, through all the different eras and the war and all of that. I also enjoyed the story he used to share this history.
