So you know the extent of the damage to the system? Perhaps leave it to the professionals. I can’t speak to wages but most are IBEW union members. Generally I agree with and enjoy your reporting.
I have to give Fernando his flowers here. During yesterday’s event, amongst hundreds of people shouting off the top of their lungs to get his attention, an event usher informed him that this young fan wished to ask him a few questions before he addressed the crowd. With no hesitation, he makes a few moments for her, even with fans having waited hours to see him. Speaks to the person he is and I’m so thrilled to have a person of this character representing our team for the foreseeable future. Great job, Fernando!
Have you ever been part of restoration efforts after a storm? I have and not an easy task. Trees and debris have to be removed first before restoration can even begin. I did not work for AES but another IOU. Not as simple as turning simply turning a switch up and down.
Almost 24 hours later and a lot of the West side is still without power.
@AESIndiana could fix this, but they hire incompetent workers because of cheap labor.
@IndyCouncil and @IndyMayorJoe could make sure this NEVER happens again but Joe, @MaggieALewis, and Leroy Robinson care more about DEI contracts than getting people's power turned back on.
INSIDE THE ROOM w @bresreports -- BLOW UP IN RSC -- RSC is meeting today. Nebraska Rep. DON BACON brought a hemp lobbyist to the meeting and yielded time to him to speak.
ANDY HARRIS said he would resign from the RSC
RSC Chair AUGUST PFLUGER said it was inappropriate for Bacon to bring the lobbyist
BACON told us he apologized and should've spoken to Pfluger first. The lobbyist was a friend from Nebraska who wanted to talk to RSC about their issues.

So true, peel the onion back and understand the figures. Now let’s set a new stake in the ground and demand better investment and record. It can be done. Michigan and UVA figured it out to make but a few. #iubb
Two things can be simultaneously true...
1) IU Men's Basketball expenditures were inflated by one time circumstantial spending which impacted ROI.
2) The program needs a much better ROI.
I do not dispute it can be done look at IU Football. I wonder if we have the staff to make it happen. I would love to wrong btw.
Appreciate your support of the Hoosiers. #iubb#iufb
Sorry to double-quote Chip, but it's important to remember that you can nail a roster reset and go really far really fast.
Here's what UVA has used to get to 29-4 and 15-3 in the ACC, with a coach that had zero prior Power Conference experience:
Not the Coach Cig model at all. So sad, so much hype and a complete failure thus far. I do agree lost a year but perhaps we can hope for something better next year……#iubb
Darian DeVries tried to build his Year 1 #iubb squad with quick fixes, old transfers. It didn't work.
Now he's left with nothing and has to start all over next year. Didn't set a culture. No player growth. Nothing. Just a completely wasted season.
