@CityPowerJhb@lasherza I think at least you can try and get feedback. As customers that pay it is the least you can do. 14 hours without electricity, this should not be the norm
Please share this warning with your people, especially older folk.
I know of a case where a fraudster got a pensioner to download the AnyDesk app on his desktop (told him it was a crypto currency app) and then got into his bank account and cleaned him out.

Country star Luke Combs says his first favourite song was Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car”.
He covered it earlier this year and the song hit #1 on country charts in July.
Chapman owns the song’s composition rights and became the first black female to top Country chart as a sole writer.
What did she think of the cover?
Chapman told Billboard: “I never expected to find myself on the country charts, but I’m honored to be there. I’m happy for Luke….and grateful that new fans have found and embraced ‘Fast Car.’”
Combs honored the original version, which he first listened to when his dad popped a cassette in the car.
“You want to just be mega respectful of the original song,” says the 33-year old country singer, per CMT. “That’s why in [my cover], it’s, ‘work in the market as a checkout girl.’ I didn’t change that…I really wanted to just do the original version of the song.”
I had Chapman’s CD and “Fast Car” was an absolute road-trip staple.
Here is a clip of the artists each performing the song live — 35 years apart:
@CityPowerJhb Seems like Orchards was switched off, switched back on and then tripped. No loadshedding was scheduled. Same area out that just came back online yesterday after 2 days without supply.
This is Claus-Henning Schulke.
The 57-year old German is a civil engineer but — once a year — he morphs into an athletic legend.
How? Schulke bikes around the Berlin Marathon course and is the dude who keeps Kenyan super-marathoner Eliud Kipchoge hydrated.
Last year, he played a part in Kipchoge’s record-breaking marathon time of 2:01:09.
Per the LA Times, Schulke is an accomplished triathlete, having finished 6x Ironman events.
How did he get in with Kipchoge?
While other major marathon events let top runners grab water off of tables, Berlin pairs the best marathoners with a volunteer (who hand them bottles).
They first teamed up in 2017 and Kipchoge — the greatest marathoner ever — requested for Schulke in the following years.
After setting the marathon record of 2:01:39 in 2018, he signed his running bib and gave it to Schulke.
It read: “Dear Claus: Without you, I would not have managed to run this world record.”
Kipchoge has also called Schulke a “hero” for his efforts. The rest of the world calls him one of the most glorious nicknames ever: “Bottle Claus”.
Three children are murdered in SA every day. The most recent crime stats reveal that 293 children were murdered between April and June this year - a 20 percent increase. Shockingly, many of these cases are unresolved. We ask why this Sunday 7pm on #CarteBlanche on @MNet.
