There is no amount of healing, therapy, and prayers that will bring back my old self bc the person who r*ped me took that person away from me forever.

Sexual abuse can manifest as hyper sexuality. Someone who was assaulted sexually may use sex to regain control, or to even punish themselves. It's a trauma response but people will be quick to label it as promiscuity. Sexual abuse changes the nervous system and it’s well documented in trauma literature.
