(and maybe that’s why i love it so much; i was in a group like that this school year with writing and it pretty much saved my life. that troupe could take on the world because people bonding over art are powerful. they are the ones who will rise, trust me, i’ve seen it)

rise is a show about people with differences coming together & bonding over something they have in common: theatre.
they learn to work together despite their differences. the messages in rise are all so powerful and relevant. rise is powerful. it is glorious.
