@By_Odins_Beard_@sbredda11@NHL_Watcher This is an insane thing to actually post for people to see.
No doubt Larkin has a ton of value, as you mentioned... But to say the only reason Boldy has more value is because the person saying it is a Wild fan is objectively hilarious and shows your collective hockey IQ.
@Jomboy_ I think it sucks that managers, and fans, get to watch ultra super slow-mo relays from 17 different angles to see the most miniscule deflection/tags/change of direction, etc and then have the gall to berate umpires who make instant calls in real full speed. Give me a break.
@Jomboy_ I get being upset with the steal out call (tho it was a bang bang play), but to be upset with the catch call, where the ball is literally hidden within the glove and no human is going to see that minor bounce IN REAL TIME, is just wrong. He has to watch slo-mo to see it to be mad
@imtheizzakizza@IslesDen It's not a sexy market in the sense there is no beach or warm weather during the NHL season, but make no mistake, Minnesota is a cornerstone market of USA hockey. Just look at our local youth participation. Look at how many collegiate and NHLers we produce. That matters.
@The_Xpurt@kem083079@JomboyMedia I haven't, but I've been an umpire, and been tagged in the mask plenty of times. So yeah, I've been behind the plate. I would know.
@kem083079@JomboyMedia Theatrics? Come on man. All it takes is one ball to hit at the right angle, at the right speed, at the right time, and it'll knock you out cold.
@whatsup6578@TheHittingVault They have to be given the chance to make mistakes, learn, and get better. But you parents and coaches, spending thousands of dollars, won't allow it. So now what? What's YOUR plan to fix it? Tell me. I've been a referee for 16+ years. I know what I'm talking about.
@whatsup6578@TheHittingVault Ok so what's your plan to fix that? You want experienced umps? Well they need to start young and grow. But coaches and parents like this chump drive away those future long term officials. And around and around we go. Young officials are NOT given the opportunity to make mistakes.
@Wear_FoxHat@mnwild2525@NHLPlayerSafety He's made $104 million in his career. Spare me the tears of *only* making a meager million this season.
Regardless of how much he's made, it's a repeat offender committing a dangerous and illegal crosscheck to the head of another player. Suspension should be the minimum here.
@NuggetsLead I've never seen one player live so hard in the heads of a fan base as McDaniels is living in the Nuggets fan bases heads. Truly remarkable to see. They can't function without whining about McDaniels. Maybe it's altitude sickness or something?
@CallMeSnake01@JomboyMedia@TalkinBaseball_ Depth perception with stopping your hand a half inch from your helmet looking directly at you (not from side angle)? Let's give these guys a little grace here. You can easily see how this can happen in a real world environment.
@Joe_Hugen@3RonJohnson It was an invalid fair catch signal, pal. Deal with it. Move on with your life instead of arguing with someone 1000% more successful than you are on X.
@navz_19@GophinAround You know the Gophers voted against the formation of the big ten hockey conference, right? We wanted to stay with our WCHA group. But because we were a founding member of the Big Ten in every other sport, we had no choice but to move over. So stop saying we chose this. We didn't.
