My prayers are with everyone affected by the devastating flooding across north central West Virginia.

My staff and I are closely coordinating with state and local officials, the West Virginia National Guard, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin’s team, FEMA leadership, and emergency responders.

Congress is in session and voting today, but my team is on the ground and ready to assist impacted West Virginians. Once the House finishes voting for the week, I will visit the affected areas to assess the damage and aid our neighbors who are in need.

I will do everything in my power to ensure our communities have every resource they need we begin the difficult process of rebuilding.
