So if a defender barely touches an offensive player, it’s a flag every time. When the offensive player blatantly pushes off with arms extended they almost never throw a flag....what’s the point?

I’m usually not someone to say “we might as well play flag football”, but if you are going to throw a flag on every big hit just because it’s a big hit, what is the point?

Now they are talking about removing kickoffs because a player didn’t keep his awareness about him and got rocked on a kickoff. Wasn’t even a blind-side hit. If you get your shit rocked for not paying attention, the opposing player shouldn’t get penalized for it.

@MANDERSEN43 Wasn’t a cheap shot lol. Michigan guy is running straight at him and even sees him. Wasn’t a blind side hit at all. You’re punishing a player for multiple games now because the opponent didn’t brace for a hit.

@MANDERSEN43 Might as well say “hitting the opponent hard” is a penalty now because if a defensive player braces for the impact they claim they are leading with the helmet. That play was pretty obvious he wasn’t going for his head.
