🗣️ “If you were aware that Neymar's injury was grade 2, would you have called him up for the World Cup?”.
😁 Carlo Ancelotti: “If my grandfather had wheels, he would be a car!”.
90% of football watchers are almost clueless about the intricacies of the game. I'm watching the whole Barca fan base crashing out and expressing their stinking ignorance.
First of all, folks, whenever you're considering the cost of a player pay little attention to the transfer fee. It's almost of no major consequence at the end of the day. The devil is in the details: how much are those going to earn????????????????????????????
Rashford currently earns 14 Million pear year, considering the fact that he accepted a 15% salary cut, and Barca pays all of it. The guy was bagging a whooping 325k per week in Man U fgs. That's more than double what Gordon earns at Newcastle (150k per week), and according to reports he is even ready to accept a further cut in his salary just to play for Barca. In 3 years Barca would've paid Rashford close to 60M in wages already. That's more than a transfer fee for a decent player all wasted on a bang average bench player. Transfer fees are amortized (divided across the contract length of every player's deal). What this means is that if we sign Gordon for 70M for instance on a 5 year deal what will be recorded in the books will be roughly 14M, which is absolutely sustainable for our books, and which is barely anything in relation to the 14/16 million we would be paying Rashford for. It's why for instance it would be stupid to think signing Haaland from Dortmund for only 60M was a cheaper deal than the signing of Ekitike or Woltermade for 90M+, because if you factor in Haaland's salary and other bonuses his deal blows the others combined out of proportion by a mile. Haaland earns more than 500k a week alone. The weight his salary has on the FFP far outweighs whatever transfer fees were paid for both Ekitike and Wolt for instance. That's why you must take everything into consideration before yapping about like an idiot. Barcelona has been trying to cut down its dumb wage structuring for more than five years now. We haven't done all of this work to come out and put Rashford on the same wage as Lamine. Rashford that cannot even keep a starting spot ahead of Fermin Lopez and Gavi on the wing. You people should behave !!!!
If he wants to stay at Barca then he has to accept a considerable salary cut. One befitting of a squad player. Only then will I back his purchase.
Gordon is also way younger and he's a pressing machine that is ready to work hard. Also, I see many fans under the impression that Barca has to sign another Lamine on the other wing and I'm basically raging over the lack of ball knowledge. Lamine Yamal is already a bull hugger, he has better pausa and chance creating abilities than anyone on earth. Pedri is already a tier 1 chance creator behind as well. Fermin and Olmo too. What the team needs is a runner on the other flank to make use of the space created by the other team overloading Lamine's Flank. That is literally how Hansi's attack operates and that's literally what changed Raphina's life. Gordon is the exact profile as Raphina. Exact!!! Rashford is simply shite on all metrics. He's a total misfit to the whole system. You fools are looking at individuals rather than looking at profiles & complimentality like Deco and Flick. Exact thing which happened last year when Deco was stubbornly on Diaz's back and we all wanted to take his life. We don't know more than them. Allow Deco and Flick to cook.
Take it from me, Anthony Gordon is going to be an unbelievable signing for Barcelona if we end up signing him (I doubt we will). But I'm positive. Visca Barca !!!
Idc what anyone says.
That Bae U’s show is getting out of hand.

Al-Nassr, Al-itihad, Al Ahli & Al-Hilal can finish in the top 5 in the Premier League.
I don't think Inter Miami or any MLS club can finish in top 10 in the Premier League.
Thoughts?
