Woo Seok cried profusely after receiving the script for the last ep of ‘Lovely Runner’, cause he didn’t want to say goodbye & part with Lovely Runner & Sunjae

💙 After receiving the script for the last episode of Lovely Runner, I cried profusely because I didn't want to say goodbye (separate from) to Sunjae. Sol & Sunjae were undoubtedly happy (happy ending) but I was so sad, so I cried profusely. I think it was only after I received & read the ep16 script that I finally realized it was ending (over). I guess I really (immensely) liked Sunjae. I finally collected my thoughts & mind (settled down) & called the writer, she said she felt the same way as well.

I felt this way because I didn't want to let go of Sunjae or this drama. I will do other dramas in the future but I don't think I'll ever let Sunjae go. Whenever I miss Sunjae, I will always pick the drama & watch it again. “I never want to forget you (Sunjae) and have you as a friend & by my side forever(Sunjae & Lovely Runner).”

Happy anniversary, my #LovelyRunner. I got no fancy or aesthetic posts, sorry haha but let me tell you my story with Lovely Runner.

I was overworked last year (I think I still am up to this day haha) but the thing is... I was kinda losing sight of my purpose in life—what I mean to people and to myself even. I lost hope. I was in that horrible state.

I tried to move forward like everyone else. Nothing was really clicking for me until I watched Lovely Runner. It gave me something to look forward to every week. The interactions I had with the people online sparked something in me. I fell in love with the drama, I fell in love with the cast, I fell in love with the community—and most importantly, I fell in love again with myself because of it.

No exaggeration here but for me: suddenly, life was worth living again with Lovely Runner. I met new friends from all around the world. I discovered my untapped potential and energy into creating groups and events with fellow fans (even the voting stuff HAHA) everything was new to me, in the best way.

Admittedly, there have been dramas already worth noting after LovRun, but nothing compares to the connection and the appreciation I still have for LovRun. Perhaps because I've got friends for life because of it, or maybe it was because of Woo Seok...

One thing's for sure: It was truly an era in my life worth traveling back to 💖
