anyone know if there's a setting to tell youtube to not shove ai features down my throat?

i absolutely don't want to engage with ai here and as a user who doesn't interface with it, it kind of lessens my experience when that could be a button i actually use like clip or download

so the stream i did today i used focusrite as the input, NO ISSUES! worked fine. windows wouldn't let me say its a mono mic so i had to change OBS settings but thats fine.
any other program? nope not allowed. but windows was still getting the signal from it & showing that

i have no idea why, but i can no longer open my recording tab on my control panel. i was just gonna see focusrite to be a mono input

@xacu66Vulpraak it's even weirder when i add that only some programs are accepting signal input from either of my interfaces.

@WeAreFocusrite i don't think it's the focusrite that's doing it actually! the interface was a fantastic workaround to another problem i had.
i believe this is a windows issue since i can't even go into control panel to check my input devices it just stops responding.

i don't know what happened, but my audio setup has catastrophically failed.

i think it's recoverable but i have so much to figure out. i can't open control panel to look at my audio input devices, whole thing freezes.
