On May 7th, I had the honour to attend the 25th anniversary event of World Education Services (WES), representing Wilfrid Laurier University. It was a truly special day—WES announced full scholarships for two Rohingya girls to study for four years through the ISOW (International Students Overcoming War) program.

As a Rohingya woman myself, it was such a proud and emotional moment. I know how hard it is for Rohingya girls to access education, and being part of this journey to help open doors for others means everything to me.

These scholarships are not just about school—they are about hope and making sure our voices and dreams are not forgotten.

Thank you WES and ISOW for believing in us and helping to change lives through education.
