@JackEllis Thanks for the blog posts Jack! It surely convinced us to use SingleStore for our analytics dashboard. IIRC, you moved your whole database to SingleStore, right? What issues came up during the migration? How did you decide whether to use column or rowstores for other tables?
@brendt_gd You run this on every branch (including main/master) or only in feature branches? I'm asking because while I agree with keeping a consistent style, I'd rather not pollute the master branch with "Fix style" commits. For PR's, it's okay, it can be rebased or squashed.
@michaeldyrynda@wardlv1@taylorotwell@adamwathan You cannot expect me to learn to set up a local env, try to find out how to write the tests. You are right to expect people to send in repro STEPS but to expect code, eh, not sure about that. 2/2
@michaeldyrynda@wardlv1@taylorotwell@adamwathan That was my first thought too. @wardlv1 and myself were not just talking about Laravel. I agree with sending reproductions but you cannot FORCE people to send in CODE if they are not technical. E.g. I'm using a CRM as a manager and find a bug 1/2
@taylorotwell@adamwathan If you disable issues and move all discussion to the discussion tab, you still have to handle the noise to filter out potential bug reports. @adamwathan's triage solution could be a good one though or GitHub could add a button to quick-create an issue from a discussion topic.
@gonedark Experienced the same, I thought it was just macOS indexing stuff, but after 2-3 days it was still spinning up for no reason (some kernel activity was above 50% cpu all the time) so I just did a clean reinstall, so far so good.
We finished P24 after starting from P50. ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Top job from everyone behind the wheel yesterday. We lost a lot of time due to some repairs but still ended up finishing this weekend on a high.
Not the result we wanted, but a result we'll learn a lot. Ton of experience gained! ๐
We are currently running P24 at halftime.
Unfortunately, we got a 25-minute repair after a contact with the wall at Turn 12-13.
The guys are already back on track and with 6 hours to go, we still have a good chance to finish the race on a high.
