My bulletproof vehicle has been fired upon over the windscreen. Luckily, I was not in the vehicle. Threat alerts have been issued by the security agencies suggesting two suicide bombers. I am under serious threat and Police and FC has been deployed around my residence. Thousands of people have taken up arms in my support and armed people have gathered in front of DRO office. I am satisfied that DRO is fair in his duties and I will be handed over result. I request all my supporters to immediately disperse as there is a very serious threat to the lives of all of us.

Shutting down mobile networks on polling day is the beginning of election day rigging. Pre-poll environment was already one of the worst in Pak’s history. Cutting candidates off from their agents and staff on election day is unacceptable. How’s one suppose to keep a check and highlight any irregularity? By the time news comes out election would have been stolen.
