🇬🇪🇪🇺 #GeorgiaProtests open letter to EU member states as resistance nears 600 days.
“We express gratitude to the international community, the European Union and its institutions, the governments of its member states, their ambassadors, and friendly peoples for the moral and political solidarity they have shown on issues of EU integration and the release of our like-minded individuals detained for political reasons, as a result of which many of them have even become targets of unjust attacks…
We will stand firm until the very end and continue the struggle until political and conscience prisoners are released, the European and Euro-Atlantic course defined by Georgia’s Constitution is restored, and the will of society is expressed through free and fair elections.”

Four crew members of a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter were killed after the helicopter crashed while intercepting Russian drones in the Poltava Oblast on June 30.
These people are full of emotions, empathy and pain💔
Volodymyr Zelensky came into office without losing his humanity. Power increased his responsibility, but it never changed who he is. True character is a gift❤️🩹
Please don't stop supporting him, don't stop supporting brave defenders. Don't stop supporting Ukraine🇺🇦.
They still need our help. 🫂❤️🇺🇦
As rescuers continue searching the rubble after Russia’s overnight attack that killed at least 17 people, US intelligence warns Ukraine could face two or three more large-scale missile and drone attacks like today’s within the next 10 days.
Residents are urged to take every air raid alert seriously.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Belgian federation has released a new statement:
"After learning through media reports of FIFA’s decision to lift the automatic suspension of player Balogun, the RBFA sent a letter to FIFA requesting a copy of the decision, an explanation of the process that had been followed, and setting out its position regarding the applicable regulations."
"As its only response, FIFA sent a letter to the RBFA stating that it considered this correspondence to constitute an appeal, that a judge had been appointed, and that the RBFA had only a few hours to complete that appeal. No information whatsoever was provided by FIFA."
"All of this occurred while FIFA simultaneously refused to respond to the RBFA’s legitimate requests."
"Furthermore, during the match coordination meeting, FIFA deliberately removed the section concerning the automatic suspension of players from its presentation. This topic had nonetheless been part of all such meetings before each of the previous four matches. The RBFA questioned FIFA, both orally and in writing, about the reasons for this change, yet once again received no response."
"To be clear, as of this moment, the RBFA has still not received any decision or any explanation from FIFA regarding this matter. It therefore has no alternative but to challenge the player's eligibility for the upcoming match."
"Regardless of the sporting outcome of this match, the RBFA is deeply saddened by the course of events and will continue to fight in the coming hours, days and months in defence of the fundamental principles of ethics, fair competition, and the interests of football as a whole."
Fire Point CTO Iryna Terekh said the strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery was historic because it is Russia’s largest refinery, nearly twice as powerful as Moscow’s, and the only Russian refinery producing cracking catalysts used in secondary oil processing. #Ukraine
At his prom, 15-year-old Egor Holodryha danced the graduation waltz alone.
His partner, his classmate Maria, was supposed to be there beside him. They had spent months rehearsing together, dreaming about this night.
But on May 14, Russia killed her in a missile strike on Kyiv. Maria died alongside her father and grandmother.
Egor refused to find another partner.
“It would have been a betrayal of Maria,” he said.
So while other couples danced together, he finished their dance alone.
This is what Russia steals. Not just lives, but futures, dreams, first dances, and memories that should have lasted a lifetime.

"When it's no longer 100 drones flying toward Moscow, but 1,000... he'll understand"
In an interview with the Financial Times, the Ukrainian president said the decisive battle of the war is now taking place in the skies.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine has become highly competitive in drone warfare, but its biggest vulnerability remains the shortage of air defense systems.
He also urged Europe to share more technology and expand joint defense production, arguing that Patriot systems alone will never be enough.
"When Putin starts feeling it personally, when he sees it with his own eyes, you'll see advisers recommending that he move somewhere beyond the Urals. The farther Putin is from Moscow, the closer the end of the war," Zelensky said.
All six Kalibr missiles were shot down last night, and 31 out of 33 cruise missiles were intercepted, meaning whenever the necessary capabilities are available, our warriors deliver truly high interception rates. That is the only explanation for the problem with ballistic missiles – insufficient number of interceptors. This is especially true for Patriots.
We have proven to all our partners both the need, and more importantly, the possibility of providing greater protection of lives. It is simply nonsensical that, in today’s world, production has still not been scaled up to the level that is actually needed to protect people from ballistic terror. We have long made the case that we are capable of producing such defensive weapons ourselves. If Ukraine were granted U.S. licenses to produce Patriots, our own production would be sufficient both to protect Ukraine and to help partners in need.
We are in contact with everyone around the world who can provide air defense missiles now. This is our top priority.
Over this past week, Russia used around 2,200 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,730 guided aerial bombs, and 106 missiles of various types, nearly half of them ballistic. Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, as well as our border and frontline communities, are under fire almost every day. There was a massive strike on Kyiv that claimed the lives of 31 people and injured another 102, including four children. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Every day, we must protect lives from these attacks. We already have the capabilities to effectively shoot down more than 90% of drones, but, unfortunately, not all ballistic missiles are intercepted. And it is ballistic missiles that Moscow is now leaning on to continue its war. And every day, we are working to strengthen air defense for Ukraine: through PURL and through our bilateral contacts with countries that have not joined PURL but do have the missiles we so urgently need. We are also strengthening our air defense through joint work with Europeans on anti-ballistic capabilities. We need answers from our partners to our requests for air defense. Every package of interceptor missiles provides real protection for lives. I thank all leaders who are finding ways to help in this particular area.
It was good to meet with SACEUR General Grynkewich ahead of the NATO Summit in Ankara.
At the Summit, our priority will be to turn rising defence budgets into real military power for our collective defence. To create a stronger Europe in a stronger NATO.
We will also focus on Ukraine’s needs to defend itself. The battlefield momentum is shifting in Kyiv’s favour.
In Ankara, NATO leaders will pledge further support to Ukraine to keep Moscow on the backfoot.

❗️Zelenskyy: Our warriors showed good results today in downing Russian drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately not against ballistic missiles.
“The reason is the insufficient supply of interceptor missiles. While the missiles for the Patriots remain in the warehouses of our allies, this only encourages Russia to keep ‘winning’ against residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror.”
🇺🇳 Ukraine calls for urgent UN Security Council meeting over Russian attacks, - MFA
🇺🇦 Sybiha: "Every Russian missile fired at Ukraine carries a message that goes far beyond our borders. It aims to convince the world that violence can replace law, fear is stronger than solidarity, and cruelty remains unpunished.
Ukraine urgently needs more missiles for Patriot air defense systems to intercept ballistic threats, Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said. He described a serious shortage and warned that Russia has the resources to launch another mass strike on Ukraine as soon as tomorrow, urging caution. #Ukraine
They were just sleeping peacefully in their home last night. russian war criminals murdered this innocent family with a missile.
These horrific images are impossible to look at — but everyone needs to.
As a reminder why russia and their inhumane crimes must be stopped.
I spoke with the @SwedishPM. I am grateful to Ulf for his support and for his clear position on Russia’s war against Ukraine, against our people.
The key issue is, naturally, air defense. We now see that the Russians are putting their eggs in the basket of ballistic missile strikes, combined attacks, and jet-powered “shaheds.” Protection against this is the key to depriving Russia of the ability to drag out the war. Of course, Ulf and I discussed steps that can be taken to enhance our defense capabilities. We are working actively to ensure, on time, all the infrastructure, training and operational deployment of the Swedish Gripen fighter jets. This is a historic strengthening of our combat aviation and major economic cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden in the security sphere. It must be absolutely effective. We are also working within the Ukraine-Sweden Drone Deal format.
We agreed on our next contacts. Thank you!
