Working on my haul post rn but I'll share a few thoughts about my Dokomi experience:

Overall I loved the immaculate vibes from both attendees and table neighbors. Hall 5 was a great experience and I think I would just go back to that instead of attempting Hall 3. Managed to meet and exchange gifts with longtime mutuals and artists I deeply admire for their art and personality, made new friends who I deeply wish to see again next year and vibe throughout the day.

In a not so positive note while I was able to cover travel and table expenses, I unfortunately did not cover merch costs which aside from missing half my catalog due to customs inspection, I also had to spend extra funds to cover for the missing merch at the very last minute which gave me an even bigger number to overcome. While it was at a loss, it was something unavoidable and I was ready for the worst when it happened a week before the event.

On a more positive now now, I'll have enough merch stock now to cover the next few events and can safely turn a profit from that given enough time. I will take this as a learned lesson and better prepare for next year!

I do not want to stress this enough: I had the most incredible time and this was by far the best tabling experience I've ever had, being my first ever international event as well! I want to specifically shout out @yeougui for all her guidance and help finding a print shop that could deliver to the hotel, everything came out with the most amazing color quality I could imagine! Big ups to @Kagato007_art and @appleseed_art for being incredibly nice and very chill table neighbors, as well as @Merulu_Ilum for putting up with my ramblings while sharing a table with me after I roped him into this adventure.
I also want to thank every single one of you who stopped by, chatted with, and argued over the best head debate!
I hope to come back next year with an even more kickass table and hopefully less customs issues!

Thank you Düsseldorf for having me and my friends over, Dokomi is such a special place and has been cemented as the best convention to go to, bar none.
