The irony is had Karmelo Anthony “retreated”, gone to the police, and asked them to charge Austin Metcalfe with assault, they would have laughed him out of the precinct.

The other irony is that had Karmelo Anthony said to Austin Metcalfe “put a finger on me and I will stab you in the heart”, Karmelo would have been guilty of uttering a threat.

It’s murder.

Pure and simple, and nothing in the evidence - even that presented by the defense - has attenuated that conclusion.
