Why is it that producers these days just take an acapella put a random beat under it and call it a flip, edit, bootleg, or remix? If it has no motifs or melodies from the original song it feels weird to call it any of those terms.

over the last couple years i took a step back from djing shows and releasing musi, i was starting to feel a bit numb to the scene and just wasn’t sure i belonged anymore. but the show last night reminded how much i love doing this music thing and why i want to continue ❤️
