why the shielded layer is monero and not a new circuit:

what actually happens inside ringpool:

a shield opens an order with its own deposit address and a rate held for twenty minutes. the transfer is simulated before your wallet sees it, so it cannot fail on chain.

one confirmation later, the pool pays xmr to a one time key derived from your address. only your view key can recognize it. that transfer into the pool is the last public event in the coin's life.

the pool issues a fresh subaddress for the order. pay it from inside. after ten confirmations, sol or any listed coin lands at whatever solana address you named. rent is paid, so a brand new key works.

on solana that looks like the pool paying a wallet, one of thousands it pays. which deposit funded it lives only inside a ring.
