@horrorguymick Mind you his take away was to tell her โyou canโt cook the cat Nikki!๐ฅบ๐คชโ and to try to altered the wishโฆ brother deserves to burn
@iiamkrshn I stop feeling bad after the second 'he left me' because what do you mean this is a developed patern and you keep going back. THAT MAN IS TRASH. you are stupid for going back to him, honestly girl.
@phisnom Well... no. Clark was obsessed with it and felt it as an escape and freedom. Mary left only went in once. Clark was crazy, the government is greedy, and the others were unfortunate enough to get wrapped up in it.
Guys I was excited about verity until I heard it was a Colleen hover book and got a breakdown of the book..... do you guys think the movie adaptation will be better than the book? Like genuinely because I want to see Anne Hathaway play a horror character, but colleen can't write.
@temprtv_ If you can think with a little nuance and don't expect 'in your face' horror? Yes. I personally really enjoyed it and I connected with the mental health themes.
@CHA0S4REEL The first thing I heard from the audience was a guy saying "yo that movie was low-key ass, bro" and I knew immediately that he was a dumbass
@Caol_MacCormaic I actually think it's cooler that they were able to incorporate a "text on the screen" title into a scene and make it make sense. It's more creative to me than just writing on a piece of paper or changing the text on a card.
@bigmonsoon Genuinely idk why people are going into THE BACKROOMS MOVIE and expecting typical Hollywood horror. If they want slop they should just go watch the mandilorian movie.
@raissaverso@HugoBaroni04 It literally didn't, though. The scientist literally said he has no idea what it is or how it works. The best description we got is 'describing a dog and asking someone to draw it'. If that isn't abstract, I don't know what is. we don't know why it exists, how it changes, etc
Guys, don't 6 to Twitter to see if you want to watch backrooms. It thought it was pretty good, and I think everyone should go in expecting to analyze and observe instead of expecting jumpscares or plot that would go against backrooms as a concept.
"Backrooms wasn't scary" I swear to God jumpscare movies have ruined the horror genre because if a movie doesn't have 20 jumpscares now people will shit on it.
@trizzfilm In a few months when people had time to chew this film a lil everyone who says it was bad will change their mind. I don't think it was a perfect film, it took specific characters and delved into their minds via the backrooms and told a compelling story. https://t.co/L8FeUQuZZj
