Most Americans don’t understand what socialism is.
It’s not universal healthcare.
It’s not affordable housing.
It’s not what Nordic countries do.
Confusion is making socialism appeal to those who never lived it.
People who have, reject it.
It's 1970 in Austin and you're at Armadillo World Headquarters - opening night was 56 years ago today!🎙️
The Rise and Fall of the Armadillo World Headquarters
AUSTIN, Texas (@fox7austin) — On August 7th, 1970, an old abandoned military building on Barton Springs Road became the most important music spot in Austin. A man named Eddie Wilson turned the big, empty room into a place where local musicians could play. On opening night, people walked into a warm space with cheap beer and soft carpets on the floor. It did not take long for the Armadillo World Headquarters to become the heart of the city's music scene.
What made the Armadillo so special was how it brought totally different people together. Back then, hippies and cowboys did not usually get along, but they both loved coming here to listen to live shows. Famous stars like Frank Zappa, Bruce Springsteen, and Willie Nelson played on its stage. Country singers and rock bands shared the same microphone, creating a new style of Texas music that put Austin on the map.
By the end of the 1970s, Austin was growing fast, and land near downtown became very valuable. Because the venue owners rented the building instead of owning the land, developers bought the property to build high-rises. The Armadillo held one final, huge party on New Year's Eve in 1980 before it was torn down. The building is long gone, but the music and memories made there changed Austin forever.
Our America needs ALPHAS to protect it. President Trump needs to do exactly what this man is saying.
So share this video far and wide so @POTUS sees it.

Fauci is taking the Fifth today.
The Senate will prove he lied. It won't answer the question that matters: how did he get away with it for six years?
@BarbaraMBoyd on the machine that made him untouchable — and the White House memo that just dismantled it.
Tractor Supply banned a hot dog vendor for supporting Trump … Let that sink in!
A small business owner who sells American hot dogs, flies the American flag and even fed their employees for free …
… was then kicked off the property because of his politics.
These corporations still haven’t learned:
Bud Light.
Cracker Barrel.
🚨Now Tractor Supply.
Rural America won’t tolerate this.
24+ hours later, Tractor Supply still hasn’t responded after a hot dog vendor says he was banned from every store for supporting President Trump.
Rural America is paying attention. 💯
