So very sad to hear this news - Lisa was always the friendliest face at any enviro arch conference and a fountain of archaeobotanical knowledge. She will be very much missed.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our dear friend, Dr Lisa Lodwick, passed away yesterday. She has left a legacy of innovative, collaborative work that stretches far beyond Oxford. Our deepest sympathies to her family and husband Jo. She will be sorely missed.

@TomWGarner @_changing_tides @GGAT Looks interesting - size could possibly suggest some kind of fish trap construction or similar? Only thing I would say is be cautious of date as the stakes could have been pushed into the deposit at a much later date.

Back on Freshwater West this weekend and the peat is still exposed, though to a lesser extent. Hoofprints still clearly visible and some potential human, though all very shallow/eroded. Ginny the Springador for scale..

Footprint hunting at Kenfig with @SueGreaney and @Estalwin today - likely to be those reported in Bennet et al 2010 (https://t.co/OvhrgPXPrH) very eroded (sorry not great photos), but looked to belong to children including possibly toddler aged. Hoofprints also present!
