Bridge groove for “I Need More Time” by the Meters. Original drum part by Zigaboo Modeliste. This is at song tempo, but I posted another video at a much slower 80bpm as well.

10 years after posting my cover of “I Need More Time” by The Meters, I went back and actually transcribed Zigaboo’s bridge groove. Here are two “home base” bars at 80 BPM; the 100 BPM version is next. Hope this helps! 🥁

I walked into the shitter of a shitty little gas station bathroom, expecting it to be shitty…. When I walked in, however, I was pleasantly surprised by a clean bathroom with local art on the wall.

@thedankoe It took me quite a while to make this connection. Decades lost in the zen mist…. But I’m here now- almost 50 and just now learning about marketing, and how to asses my own value to the world.

@WrongsToWrite Yeah, right? Besides just how gross it feels. On the other hand, (pun intended) the overly powerful handshake is also a bit suspicious. What are they overcompensating for?

@cbwritescopy A digital course that encourages 'wanna-be' drummers to "play more drums". A complete get started guide from buying equipment to learning your first beats, and playing along with songs. Any and all obstacles that prevent you from playing are dealt with.

Most people suck at DMs.

"Hi"
"How are you"
"Please follow back"

Will probably get you blocked more than it gets responses.
