Why writers need to KEEP WRITING:
-You ARE getting better
-If you keep writing you will get published
-You only fail when you stop trying to succeed
-There's no time limit on getting published
-Remember how far you've come
-Every sentence you write gets you closer to publication
Looking for writing buddies! I read most things. I have a newfound love for cozy mysteries & horror crossovers. I write & read mostly fantasy...
I've been writing forever, but seriously for 4 or 5 years. Trying to publish in the next year...
Just need people to talk to...
3 Day Weekend - Day 1 Goals:
- finish fast draft of #TeaTales #1
- print both #WaterWorld drafts
- read both drafts
- new outline for both books
- go through all #WIP to find which ones to write and plan
- this week's tiktok videos

To add to this, I also:
- love to make last names into first names
- enjoy splitting a single name into a first and last name
- use nicknames instead of real names
- take existing names and add/subtract letters till it resembles something I like

I saw a post about finding names & wanted to share how I find names!
- read the names of people at the end of movies, TV shows, ect
- baby books or baby name sites
- my own heritage or family tree
- names in other works of fiction, often reworked

@Keycapsblog Basically, it's just an advance write up to help me when I'm writing the whole chapter...
Since my outline doesn't quite give all the details in order, and I tend to collect bits of dialogue from the first fast draft in it...
I got in over 2 hrs of work on #WitchyWIP#CovenCometh today...
I'm working on the 2nd draft of this, so:
- researched a bunch of small details that were missing from the 1st draft
- re outlining the chapters & adding the details
- writing paragraph despriptions
