This event was for children (age 7-10) and the goal was to demystify cancer and cancer research through different activities our team prepared! We and the kids had a lot of fun & overall it was a successful event ! Looking forward to future collaborations with the @WICWC#Science
We sat down with Dr. Surashri Shinde, who recently earned her PhD at McGill University, to learn more about bladder cancer! 🎗

Another Humans of RIOT post to highlight another member of the team. Meet Joan Miguel Romero - he is currently the Co-chair of the RIOT Montreal chapter! ✨
He is an MD-PhD candidate at @mcgillu and a trainee in the Cancer Research Program at the @rimuhc.
He is under the supervision of Dr. George Zogopoulos. His research looks into how T cell-inflammation occurs in pancreatic cancer. A better understanding of this process can help improve outcomes in patients using immunotherapies.
SAVE THE DATE!🗓️
