When you have a fan/customer base you can continually build relationship & sell to them, bring them back to your website, market products efficiently etc.
Everyone knows that the money is in the list. But the challenge is how to start building a customer base & sustaining it.
You can sell a crappy product with good marketing,
but you can't retain an unhappy customer with good marketing.
In the long run, a valuable product paired with little marketing will give you much better results than an average product with great marketing.
One of life's characteristics is growth. The process, sometimes might be slow or probably insignificant. However, make deliberate efforts in growing into a better version of your yesterday.

If I were starting out today with no income and low job prospects, I would:
1. Move to a rural area.
2. Learn to farm.
3. Leverage my relationship to a significant tract of land.
4. Try to build an agric business.
I don't know why more people don't consider this path.
