@PocketTrigger In one of the coaching vods is a game where they had BT Titans ekko in stage 2 and then gromps dropped 2 swords, opening up a pivot to Warwick. Items drops can definitely be a factor or of course if someone else is playing ekko and you have an opportunity to make WW items
Many players learn reroll comps through planners and fixed roll timings. Itโs a good baseline, but reroll decisions change game to game. This thread covers reroll fundamentals and nuances that donโt show up in planners but can affect your placement a lot. VOD at the end.

2-1 spot recognition, efficient rolldowns, scouting, positioning, and econing all affect if you can 3* on time. A lot of placements can be lost ignoring just one of these things, and its hard to know which one it is from game to game.
Buying the right units in Stage 1, choosing the right augment, and identifying your best lines can decide most of your placement.
Stage 1โ2 has the fewest but most impactful decisions. I talk about this in coaching sessions a lot so thought itโd be useful to post on it.
(11/x) After 2-1, you should have a rough idea of your available lines and whether youโre playing to win or lose Stage 2.
If you need more info or have a bunch of pairs, you can wait for more shops and scout the lobby.

(10/x) The portal can heavily influence your augment choice and even line selection. Portals can give you more resources in items or gold which decreases their value in augments. In Gold Sub and Loot Sub you can scout to see what the drops are before you take your augment.
