Mine is Starlight, the swirled foil that ended with Fossil in 1999. Cosmic foil took over the very next set and never left.

Gold Star cards are shiny prints, only one allowed per deck.

$2,962 raw, $65,481 in PSA 10 (PriceCharting, Aug 29). Only 19 have graded that high (PSA, Sept 13). ✨

The 30th Celebration Classic Collection does something quietly nerdy. 🔍

All thirty reprints keep the number they were born with. Charizard comes back as 4 out of 102. The Aquapolis Crystal Lugia comes back as 149 out of 147. No fresh set numbering, just the original digits under a Pikachu stamp and new foil.

Pokemon's own set page promised the power of nine new LV.X, and 2009 collectors chased every one. Today Alakazam LV.X 103/111 sits near two hundred dollars raw while modern secret rares from far bigger print runs clear the same number.

The Elite Four LV.X subset only ever existed here, one set, one shot.
