@DestinyTheGame Destiny 1 and 2 sit firmly in my Top-10 games of all time. Great times but became a well worn and tedious path long ago.

Well, Fabrizio just said Slot is confident he’s the manager next season. And, despite rumors to the contrary, Fabrizio tends to be right.

So I’m back in the doldrums. More apathy, flat play, and an uninspired locker room.

It means Slot remains. Another season of middling, unbranded play with little identity. And when it inevitably falls apart, Xabi is locked down for years.

Interesting and true but…

He won the league with a club biunce from new management but using Klopp’s players. Klopp was exhausted and Slot brought a fresh feeling.

Then the summer of big spending, sold Diaz (that hurt), and he “polished” the tactics. To me, it feels like he won with Klopp’s team and (mostly) tactics. The summer allowed him to fully change us into his brand of club and tactics. The results seem obvious. Not good enough.

Upon hearing the chatter he’s going to stay for next season, I felt despondent. I have little to no faith in his ability to make us a winning product in 26/27.

The game has passed him by. He’s stuck in old school tactics and let’s not start on his substitution patterns. Yikes.

Congrats to the Windrose dev team. Fabulous start. Compelling and different world makes for an enjoyable sandbox adventure.

I find it curious that the mod world seems focused on making the game easier (unlocks, removal of limits, faster this or that). I don’t get it. Removes the sense of accomplishment when you nail an objective or tier.

I’d like to see more QoL mods to smooth out rough spots - like the slight freeze/hiccup when you exit any storage etc. Note: only occurs with DLSS enabled.

So I took Crimson Desert for a 2-hour ride and decided to refund. Feels like a game that is a mile wide, visuals are excellent but... I'm just not sure...

There are some janky animations and movement, the UI takes some getting used to, it is definitely unfocused and wide open. Didn't work for me, may work for you.
