$WINGS @wingbits launching today on @krakenfx , @Raydium and @orca_so
Project Overview
Wingbits is a decentralized aviation data network that uses real-world flight tracking hardware to collect and monetize aircraft data. It allows users to run receivers, contribute data, and earn rewards similar to a DePIN + aviation analytics model.
Tokenomics:
• 10B total supply
• 40% to station rewards
• 24.5% to investors
• 24.5% to team
• 11% to ecosystem growth
Funding:
Backed by $9.2M from some of the best in web2 + web3:

Key Highlights
Real-world use case: flight tracking + aviation data monetization
DePIN narrative (similar to Helium / Hivemapper style)
Users earn by running hardware → aligns incentives with network growth
Data buyers include aviation, logistics, analytics firms
Risks
Hardware adoption barrier → slower scaling vs pure software projects
Tokenomics still not fully transparent
Depends heavily on real-world demand for aviation data
DePIN hype crowded — competition exists
My take:
This is one of those projects that actually has a real business behind it, not just token hype. So far they have grown 2100 stations across 85 countries. The aviation data angle is solid companies do pay for this stuff, so revenue isn’t just theoretical. But the catch is scaling… people need to set up hardware, which always slows things down.
If they manage to build a strong network early, it can turn into a serious DePIN play. If not, it’ll just stay niche.
