@mail_american @judgeluttig @tribelaw @katiecouric You also just glide right over the phrase "...heretofore incurred..." in the 1898 amnesty act, which clearly indicates that the amnesty was retroactive, not prospective. That act itself makes little sense under your logic, given the 1872 act.

@ScottShermphoto @StephenKing In general, I say, "Amen." But in specific, until Republicans reject the "big lie" and misinformation, I will take my small voice and single vote and push back. I would consider voting for Kinzinger or Liz Cheney or any R that seemed to be interested in truth and fairness.

@jstogdill I have a wait-and-see attitude at this point. If Twitter continues to have interesting people and reasonable policies, I think $8/mo to decrease economics for bots and troll-farms might be okay. OTOH, $8/mo for a thing that actively harms my mental health seems steep.
