Day 1 of parts of the plants. Students named their plants w/ a Spanish name, then asked to explain why their plant was given that name. Seed were planted and watered. They will be keeping a journal of the growth of their plants for the next months @FoothillKnights @TUSDschools

Thank you for making my best friends night at the Honda center concert. She suffers from anxiety and when she found out I had Covid (3 days b4 the concert) she almost skipped out Bc I couldn’t go. she pushed through n had a blast & even got to hold your hand. OMG
EL students participated in the Egg Drop Challenge. The main topic for this lesson was communication (meaning of communication, examples & how they would have to communicate with each other when working on group projects #ELD&SCIENCE @HewesTUSD@TUSDthrives
The EL kiddos did an amazing job with their Gallery Walk.
Sts began assignment with a squiggly line, turned that into a drawing & wrote stories about their drawings.

Spanish 1b had a great time practicing their listening & translating skills. Students had to listen to a description read by another group and take notes, then pair the 5boys to the 5girls listed. @TUSDthrives@TUSDschools@HewesTUSD
@henrydicarlo our amazing neighbor and former students, Jacob Robison and Emily and Josh Hollingshead, also do the flag service in the Orange County area. We love how they honor our Country.
@GuyFieri it is with great sadness to let you know that one of your amazing contestants on #guysgrocerygames has left us to become a chef in heaven. We will greatly miss Chef Janice Cabaysa! She passed suddenly in late September.
