Positive stories from a conflict zone

I had the pleasure of catching up with Yahya, who used to be my student back in 2018-19 at RISE. It was great to see him after all this time and hear about his inspiring journey since then. Yahya's tenacity and passion for learning have taken him on an incredible path.

He is currently pursuing engineering at NIT Srinagar. What's even more impressive is that during the pandemic, when many people were feeling lost and unsure about their future, Yahya took the initiative to explore his interests and pursue a diploma in interior design along with his B. Tech. He worked as an intern for a year, gaining valuable experience and skills and opened up his own firm.

It's incredible to see how quickly Yahya's business has grown since he started it just last year. He is still in his final year in college. His dedication and hard work have paid off, and his clients have multiplied, leading him to hire three more people. Yahya is a true example of how with determination and passion, one can achieve anything they set their mind to.

At RISE, we are dedicated to fostering and supporting more stories of success like his. I am so proud of his accomplishments and can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
