This is 21 year old Sanjush Lingamaneni proud owner of an Aston Martin.

He drove his Aston Martin at high speed and rammed into a poor sales girl Bharati Mukhi, killing her instantly on 16th August.

Sanjush’s super power?

He is the son of Andhra Pradesh Jana Sena MP Lingamaneni Ramesh.

Bharati Mukhi, who worked as a sales girl at Lifestyle, Inorbit took a lunch break around 3pm to go get food from the street opposite the mall, along with her friend.

Ten minutes later, while she was returning, Lingamaneni Sanjush who was driving his Aston Martin at high speed rammed and killed Bharati Mukhi instantly.

He tried to escape but thanks to people around, they took his video, photos and then ensured that he took Bharathi to the hospital. Unfortunately, 26 year old Bharathi was declared brought dead.

The very efficient Telangana police shielded Lingamaneni Sanjush’s name till yesterday.

A lot of political bigwigs got involved because Janasena is an alliance partner of TDP & BJP in Andhra Pradesh.

An MP’s son’s future is more important than the life or death of a 26 year old girl who came to Hyderabad looking for “future” and better opportunities from Odisha.

Till last evening, the Telangana police guarded the accused Lingamaneni Sanjush’s details.

Sanjush is still NOT ARRESTED. Despite his rash driving killing Bharati Mukhi on 16th August at 3:10pm.

SIX DAYS AND NO ARREST.

Imagine how Hyderabad police behave when you violate a small rule? Immediate fine, immediate confiscation, cases and what not.

But if you are an MP’s son in an Aston Martin, you can kill someone on the road and still walk away.

If not for the videos taken by people on the road, Sanjush would have escaped long back. Even now hope for justice is absolutely bleak.

But this isn't a reflection upon the film industry or the leaders of automobiles and other industries, who were earlier very vocal on social & political issues.

Their silence is a reflection upon the inflated ego of an ageing joker. The one who tries to portray that one who criticises his work & policies, is a threat to the nation.

It's not easy to speak up in a namesake democracy, when you are wealthy and famous, Some Income tax irregularities, a few yards of unauthorized construction, an old court case, a new FIR, you never know what will hit you next. Or even online harassment of your closed ones by the paid dogs of the ministries, could demoralise & silence you.

Also for most of them, it pays well to ride along with the power, they get endorsements, promotions, awards, rewards for being active partners in their propaganda projects. And if you are just silent, they let you live, you survive like a harmless lizard.

Recently my son asked me why he needs to do mental math when calculators exist. I told him if he doesn't, he will make irrational decisions throughout his life.

Let me explain. Say you see two packs of snacks. A 500g pack for ₹100, and a 200g pack for ₹45. Which one should you buy?

The math is not at all hard, but people who are scared of mental math will not do it. This is not such an important decision that you pull out a calculator for it. So you make the decision on vibes - say ₹100 "looks too high", or that the smaller pack costs "less than half of the biggest one" or some such.

The problem isn't that you made a poor decision on snacks. It is that if you do this repeatedly, you train your mind to make decisions on vibes. Over time your reasoning muscle atrophies - so you start relying even more on vibes.

Before you know it, you are taking even big decisions on vibes. Should I rent or buy a house? Let's decide based on "EMI affordability", not rental yield. Should I invest in this IPO? I have heard of the company's brand so I'm all in. It isn't only financial or quantitative decisions either - in my mind the math muscle and the logic muscle are closely correlated, so a decline in one certainly affects the other.

Like the Arab who let the camel's nose inside the tent, fear of math is the first step towards thoughtlessness, and needs to be nipped in the bud. Intellectual laziness starts with snack prices.

Good morning, initial impressions liking the Pixel 10a more than I thought.

Build quality is solid, stereo speakers much better than many phones and even haptics is done so well, performance is snappy for daily tasks though still using older Tensor G4.

Will test more for the next few days, Pixel always surprises instead of just raw paper specs, actual usage experience matters here.

Went to my go-to cafes in HSR to read today. 3 out of 20 tables were occupied. It had just the right mix of calm and bustle. The cafe has a no laptop policy which I suppose explains the lack of crowd on a Sunday.

It's a peaceful space to write, read, have a deep conversation with a friend or do any kind of focus work that doesn't require a laptop. The cafe is busier during weekdays and during breakfast hours but an oasis of peace on Sunday afternoons. I have known the owner for years. Happy that he has found a way to make this work.
