@suraiya95 ji, it was published in the newspapers last month that the SDMC had rolled back the tax increase on commercial and rented properties(which was 3 times directly). However a notification for the same has not been issued to tax officials. Request you to look into this.TY.

@ArvindKejriwal Thank you @ArvindKejriwal for once again proving that vote is all that matters to you. Industries, from where most of the revenue come from still have to pay the same fixed charges as most consume over 15kw. And now have to pay Rs. 8.5 per unit whereas residential will pay less.

Instead of relying on increasing the already high property tax, I believe the SDMC should focus on those who are not paying their taxes which will significantly increase the revenue collection I hope this is given serious priority by the SDMC, & is rolled back in public interest.

6a. This is absolutely not by choice but due to the policies causing so. All this is only going to reduce the tax collection from industries. Considering these factors and no remedial steps taken by the responsible authorities rather calls for a downgrade in the category.
