Been seeing a lot of hot takes on how the new TRAI order to show caller ID by default will be end of apps like Truecaller. If that actually happens, how will we be alerted to know a fraud is calling? It'd just display the name of this fraud and not that he's a fraud.

At Sweden, I visited the headquarters of leading global technology companies Ericsson and Truecaller to gain insights into cutting-edge technologies and innovations. 🇮🇳🇸🇪

At Ericsson's headquarters, I explored advanced communication technologies and gained a firsthand understanding of robotic systems being developed to respond to emergencies in remote and difficult-to-access areas.

At Truecaller's headquarters, I interacted with the company's Co-founder, Shri Alan Mamedi Ji, and learned about its operations, spam call detection and technologies aimed at preventing online fraud.

Additionally, I explored Envac's advanced waste management system and learned about innovative technologies related to cleanliness, waste disposal and sustainable urban development.

Something very dear to me recently....the shame and embarrassment that scammed victims face makes matters worse than the scam itself. Scam victims deserve support, not embarrassment. Tell them its ok, it happens to the best of us and help them.

Yes, Truecaller unfortunately breaks on upgrading to ios 27. But the fix is easy...simply go to your phone's settings and turn off the Truecaller toggles and turn them back on. That fixes it.

(A permanent solution is on the way too of course)
