CRITICAL FIRE DANGER with big-time winds and low relative humidity values will likely develop behind the surging dry line next Friday and south of the deep surface low - forecast to eject from the central Plains to the Upper Mid-West.

An arc of supercells will likely develop along the northern portion of this dry line and race across Iowa and northern Missouri into Illinois before a nocturnal mode develops just to the south.

This fire threat behind the dry line on Friday is one of the more confident aspects of this forecast.
