So the officer who used tactical contact on the cow, has been removed from frontline duties and is being investigated by the IOPC, yet the cow was seen on a number of main roads and during this time, numerous calls were received reporting a car being damaged and it running at members of the public.

For several hours officers tried a number of options to safely capture the cow but these were unsuccessful and the decision was made to stop it using a police car.

Another police officer thrown under the bus for doing the right thing!
