The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage has announced its 2026 stops along the East Coast. To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the pilgrimage will visit the original thirteen colonies, beginning in Saint Augustine, Florida, and traveling north to Portland, Maine, with stops at historic sites such as Boston’s Freedom Trail and the Baltimore Basilica. Father Charles Trullols, director of the Catholic Information Center in Washington, D.C., will serve as the host for the halfway point of the pilgrimage. He shares his experience of starting the first annual Eucharistic Procession in the nation’s capital in 2023, reflecting on what has been the most meaningful part of the processions and how this year’s event will be different:

Tomorrow we will also be joining the Pro-Life Action League for the Pharmacy Protest at Walgreens Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, calling on the chain to reverse the decision to bring death by Chemical Abortion Pills into neighborhood across America.

As a part of these events, Walgreens will be presented with a petition of nearly 29,000 names of people opposed to turning neighborhood pharmacies into abortion vendors.
