@StephanieInii Wow! You must be killing it. Though in the beginning it's better to first focus on one then once you gain traction you can spread your basket.
The past few days had me grinding how to learn sales and there's nothing as amazing as applying the knowledge, building a product your audience needs, then making a sale in the process.
I feel proud of myself!
60-Second Copywriting Masterclass
1. Do enough research. Otherwise, you'll struggle to craft high-converting copy.
2. Always focus on the reader. They don't care about you. They care how YOU can help THEM.
3. Read your copy out loud. This is the best way to spot clunky flow and weird sentences. When you're done, read it out loud again.
4. Use paragraph breaks. Huge chunks of text burden the reader and make you sound like a university textbook. Write copy in short paragraphs.
5. Stay away from fancy words. If a 5th grader can't understand your copy, you need to dumb it down. Use the Hemingway app to do so.
6. Delete "it". Once you're done writing, do a word search for "it" and rewrite as many instances as possible. Do the same for "this" and "that".
7. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Beginner copywriters try to be creative. Advanced copywriters use proven templates.
Everyone loves listening to stories.
Take a look at podcasts. Blogs. Social media posts.
You'll find out in the process of scrolling through posts, a story starts, and you stop, you read, till the end.
Storytelling is such a powerful tool when it comes to marketing.
Is it just me or I'm beginning to like content that retired people post.
Not the trying to get your attention posts.
Just their wins, how they worked hard to reach where they are and a clear sense of the right things to focus on in lifeโค๏ธ
I used to think trying to go through courses would make me an expert overnight.
But I came to realize my best approach in grasping concepts is actually by doing, or mimicking an expert who's demonstrating their expertise through real projects.
Everyone's talking about social media marketing but nobody tells you how to get started.
I put together a full breakdown: the skills you need, which businesses are hiring, and how to turn this into real income:

HEADLINES
The greatest sin you can ever commit in copywriting is drafting a HEADLESS copy.
Surprisingly, some copywriters still commit this serious "writing offence."

Day 3 of my copywriting series.
Today's focus: Assuming we have a client who needs a landing page for email marketing.
Target audience: busy entrepreneurs who know they need email marketing but don't have time to write.
Let's see what it takes to write copy that converts. ๐งต
Today's lesson:
Good copy isn't about being clever or creative.
It's about being:
โ Clear
โ Specific
โ Benefit-focused
โ Customer-centric
Write for them, not for you.
