“Crude oil is in the South, yet refineries are built in the North. Cattle are in the North, yet ranches are pushed South. Terrorists operate in the North, yet the South is militarized. Importers are in the East, yet seaports are developed in the West while Eastern ports remain neglected.”
First time in my entire life witnessing citizens of a country focusing on and scrutinizing an opposition leader while ignoring an incumbent who has plunged a large number of citizens into abject poverty.
Must be SPELL.
Yesterday, I spoke with ARISE News on the Anambra debt question and other issues affecting our nation.
In the interview, I clarified the facts surrounding the multilateral development funds accessed by Anambra State, the financial position I left behind in 2014, and the urgent need to focus on the hardships confronting Nigerians rather than on political distractions. I am Sharing this interview to correct factual details, clear all doubts, and put the issues in their proper perspective.

This is false!
If a bank approves a line of credit for any organisation, the organisation only pay interest on the specific amount of capital that was actually drawn down , starting from the day you draw it until it is repaid. No interest accrues on the unused funds in the approved line of credit.
Many of you pose as financial minds but you're actually unintelligent. Anyone who has done business with the banks will.know this fact!
I am surprised to see a statement from @atiku and @ADCNig campaign team including my name as a member of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s policy team for the 2027 presidential campaign.
For the record:
1. I was not consulted and did not give my consent to my name being published as a member of the ADC candidate’s policy team.
2. I am NOT, in fact a member of Atiku’s policy team, even unofficially or in any advisory capacity.
3. I have quit partisan politics in Nigeria since 2022. I have maintained, and continue to maintain, my non-partisan posture in our country’s national affairs. I am not a member or sympathizer of any political party in Nigeria.
4. My primary engagement is as President of @IGETAfrica , a non-partisan public policy think tank and executive education academy, and as CEO of Sogato Strategies, a geopolitical risk and regulatory strategy advisory firm.
5. I remain committed to my country, Nigeria and its progress, but such commitment does not have to entail ANY partisan alignment. I have adopted the path of statesmanship, not partisanship.

I have said this before, and I believe it is important to remind Nigerians of my position as we approach 2027.
Peter Obi has my support for the presidency.
But my position is clear, I am not supporting the idea of Peter Obi becoming somebody else’s Vice President.
The day Peter Obi accepts a Vice Presidential position, I will walk away from his corner. I have said this plainly, and I stand by it.
My concern is not about personalities. It is about the kind of leadership Nigeria needs and the direction in which we want our country to go.
I have also argued that we should begin to rethink the age of those seeking executive office. The Nigerian presidency should not become a retirement home for politicians.
I believe there should be a serious national conversation about limiting presidential and gubernatorial candidates to those aged 70 or below.
Nigeria needs leadership that is focused on the future, not simply another cycle of political succession.
These are principles I have stated publicly, and Nigerians should judge them for themselves.
On the day I left office, I left more than US$150 million as the dollar component of my investment in Anambra State as governor. I hereby provide documents that can be verified with the various banks. Had it remained untouched, this investment was expected to provide Anambra State with approximately US$10 million in annual income.
Even if their assertion were accurate—which it is not—that Anambra owed US$123 million, the government could have used the US$10 million generated annually from my savings to reduce the debt. It has now been 13 years since I left office, which would amount to US$130 million. The debt should have been fully settled by now.
Had they retained the funds I left in the bank, including the compound interest on the principal and the additional income, the total would be approximately US$335 million today. If they had chosen to repay the US$92.35 million funding, the entire amount would have been covered, leaving approximately US$242 million to be reinvested. That sum would have generated about US$20 million annually for Anambra State.
Let me reiterate that, when I left office, I left Anambra State in a strong financial position—the strongest of any state in Nigeria—and I stand by that position.
Through this clarification, I wish to state categorically that I will neither engage nor trade words with anyone regarding my tenure in Anambra State. My focus will now be on issues affecting the suffering Nigerian masses, which is the reason for my presidential ambition.

“If I go back to the debt left by the past government, some people will unfortunately be affected. I inherited a debt of ₦191.2 billion, but I have been able to pay almost 75% of the debt. How I was able to do this was by reducing the cost of governance by 20%, because that was a major problem.”

Today, I joined our presidential candidate, His Excellency Peter Obi, alongside other NDC candidates and party members at the Obi–Kwankwaso Town Hall Meeting in Kaduna.
The gathering provided a valuable platform for Nigerians to engage directly with the candidates, ask questions, and share their views on the issues that matter most to their lives and communities.
In my remarks, I expressed appreciation to the NDC leadership, fellow candidates, and the many Nigerians who attended. I highlighted the urgent need for a renewed focus on security, quality education, and meaningful opportunities that enable ordinary citizens to improve their lives.
I also emphasised the importance of building a Nigeria where every child has the opportunity to succeed and become somebody, regardless of family background, wealth, or connections. - RMK

Abia State Gov. Alex C. Otti Signs The Much Needed Educational Reforms Bill:
-School Leaving Certificate now cost #2000 only.
-No switching of schools in SS2.
-Where you did your SS2 is where you're writing WAEC/NECO.
-Nobody registers for WAEC/NECO without passing a Government-set examination: Government Centralized Exam (GCE).
-Textbooks are reusable.
No more doing homeworks inside textbooks, prompting new students to buy fresh textbooks each term. Families who have many kids can now have their children inherit textbooks from their siblings.
-No extravagant graduation ceremony for nursery and primary students.
All these directives, which are aimed at curbing extortion of parents, making quality education more affordable, apply to both public and private schools in Abia State.
Before my mom died in July I had 2.1M saved in my Polaris account. Why? Because I wanted to get my passport and apply to some things abroad.
Fast forward to July when she collapsed finally, that first day I spent 300k and although the sickness didn’t last long it still hits

I really hate how AI is turning every single thing into fake. Adverts, photos, contents. I just hate how disruptive it is and human beings are supposed to pretend like it's all ok?
